Bay Area Service Teens Work Toward Eliminating Food Scarcity in the Community

Bay Area Service Teen’s philanthropic initiative, Basic Kneads, tackles the pressing issue of food insufficiency and scarcity within our community.

This program involves volunteering alongside various nonprofits that support individuals in need of nutritious food, as well as making donations to local food pantries.

Key partners in this effort include the Clear Lake Food Pantry and Interfaith Caring Ministries.

In addition, Bay Area Service Teens take part in a monthly collaboration between Saint Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and the Galveston County Food Bank, furthering their commitment to fight hunger.
