Snack Attack Packs: A Collaborative Effort Between Bay Area Service League & Teens to Address Food Scarcity

In response to the rising concern of food insufficiency and scarcity within the community, members of Bay Area Service League and Bay Area Service Teens have teamed up with the Snack Attack Packs initiative.

From August to May, the group purchases food from local H-E-B stores and comes together to assemble 1,180 packages. Each package contains a microwaveable meal, a sweet and salty snack, and a refreshing drink. These packages are then delivered to personnel in Deer Park ISD, La Porte ISD, and Texas City ISD, where they are distributed to students who need a nutritional boost outside of school hours.
