The Notes for Folks philanthropic program was established in the spring of 2016 with the idea of intergenerational connections.
Today, it continues in partnership with Discovery Village Clear Lake, where residents in the memory care area receive monthly cards crafted by Bay Area Service Teens. These cards celebrate holidays, convey get-well wishes, and express the sentiment, ‘We’re Thinking of You.’

While the residents may not always remember the countless ways they’ve shaped our lives today, the teens take a moment to truly appreciate their contributions as they prepare these messages.
