Since 1996, Bay Area Service Teens have taken the reins of the Ready for School Support program, which serves Bay Area Service League’s longest-running philanthropic program, Ready for School.

In collaboration with adults, these teens work behind the scenes to ensure that students of all ages start the school year with dignity and confidence. Their contributions have ranged over the years from labeling hygiene kits and preparing shopping bags to donating liquid laundry detergent and carrying out countless other vital tasks. With their efforts, they help drive the largest program in our organization’s history.

While their work may be behind the scenes, its impact is felt across classrooms and campuses throughout our community.

Together, they have made ‘ready for school’ possible.
