April is a month dedicated to solidarity, reflection, and action as we observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). It is an important time to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence and to educate our communities on prevention and support.
Bay Area Service Teens, in partnership with Bay Area Turning Point and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, supports this mission through its philanthropic programs, Crafted with Care and Project Snuggle. These initiatives provide celebration, comfort, and support to the youngest members of the community, specifically children ages 4 to 10. The holiday-themed crafts and soft fleece blankets offered through these programs can make a significant difference during challenging times.
Together, we can create a culture of respect and support, while helping our partners work towards eradicating sexual violence from our society.
