The initial fundraising efforts of Bay Area Service Teens were centered around car washes. Our volunteers organized these events, actively participated in the efforts, and washed vehicles. At the same time, the community came out to support our cause, and local businesses allowed us to occupy their parking lots for a few hours.

As a result, drivers left with clean cars, and we successfully raised funds to advance our philanthropic programs.

The car wash quickly emerged as one of our most successful early fundraising activities, with every dollar generated directly contributing to our initial philanthropic programs—some of which have since retired.

Building upon the success of those initial car washes and subsequent fundraisers, we have expanded our offerings to include programs such as Cause for Paws, Crafted with Care, and Notes for Folks.
