April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a crucial time to recognize the bravery of survivors.

At Bay Area Service League, we are dedicated to supporting those in need.

During a forensic examination, a sexual assault survivor’s clothing is collected as evidence, leaving them without anything to wear afterward. To address this, our committee members and volunteers assembled Caring Kits filled with essential items: undergarments, scrubs, and flip-flops. This ensures that every survivor leaves the examination with fresh clothing and the reassurance they are not alone.

This month, and every month, we honor survivors and stand alongside those who work tirelessly to provide care, resources, and healing.
