Bay Area Service League President Cindy Senger-Lewis (center) accepted a $10,000 donation from the Clear Lake Lunar Rendezvous Festival during the recent Kickoff and Distribution of Funds event for 2026, held on Sunday, April 19th, at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She was joined by 2025 General Chairman Katie Jones (left) and 2025-2026 Advisory Board Chairman Wendy Chandler (right).

This year marks the 61st celebration of the festival, which has been dedicated to promoting charity, honoring students, and recognizing the valuable contributions of the aerospace community since its inception.

This generous contribution will support the league’s largest philanthropic initiative, Ready for School, which provides students with appropriate clothing and accessories to boost their confidence as they begin the school year.
