Project Snuggle Offers Security to Children Entering Local Shelters

For some children, entering a local shelter often means leaving behind familiar surroundings, cherished belongings, and a sense of security. While moving to a safer environment is necessary, the sudden change can be overwhelming and frightening.

Bay Area Service Teens launched Project Snuggle in response to this challenge. Through this philanthropic program, volunteers create and donate soft blankets to children arriving at shelters. Each blanket provides warmth and security.

Project Snuggle strives to provide every child with a sense of belonging and reassurance during a difficult time.
