Bay Area Service Teens Experienced a Meaningful Year of Impact in Philanthropic Program Service

At the May annual meeting, Vice Chair Philanthropic Programs Ethan Haile presented the Bay Area Service Teens’ 2025–2026 philanthropic program accomplishments, highlighting a year of meaningful impact.

This year’s initiatives showcased the strength of our membership and the dedication of Bay Area Service Teens, who supported children, families, seniors, and animals throughout the community.

Basic Kneads — 9,450 weekend food packs distributed to students experiencing food scarcity
Birthday in a Box — 280 celebration bags delivered to children who may not otherwise experience a birthday party
Cause for Paws— 450 pet adoption kits assembled for local animal shelters for families bringing home a new companion animal
Crafted with Care — 270 keepsakes created for children entering shelters
Notes for Folks — 325 handwritten cards for memory‑care residents
Project Snuggle — 31 handmade blankets created and delivered for children facing a new home experience
