Bay Area Service League’s largest philanthropic program, Ready for School, allowed students to select school-appropriate clothing and accessories at local JCPenney stores or, in some cases, the shop-and-deliver option available through Target for those who lacked transportation.

Throughout the 2025-2026 fiscal year, 2,375 students across nine school districts, including Clear Creek ISD, Deer Park ISD, Dickinson ISD, Friendswood ISD, Galveston ISD, La Porte ISD, Santa Fe ISD, Texas City ISD, and Odyssey Academy’s public charter schools received the necessary items.
