Lexi Murphy is a junior at Clear Lake High School and currently serves as the Vice Chair Philanthropic Programs for Bay Area Service Teens.
Lexi joined the auxiliary to give back to the Houston community she has always called home. She values service and sees volunteering as a way to support fellow Houstonians. What began as a desire to help others has developed into a passion for meaningful, hands-on philanthropy.
At Clear Lake High School, Lexi is involved in the National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), the American Sign Language (ASL) Club, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Club.
Outside of school, she spends her weekends volunteering. She also enjoys watching sports, exploring new interests, and is always eager to learn.
Lexi’s favorite philanthropic program is Snack Attack Packs, part of Basic Kneads. Serving as a Teen Liaison made the program especially meaningful to her, and she remains dedicated to the students it supports.
Lexi’s decision to take on a leadership role was a natural progression. She wanted to expand her impact within the organization and support the community more deeply. As a leader, she aims to ensure those facing challenges feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Lexi looks forward to a year filled with service, growth, and opportunities to inspire others to join her in making a difference.
