Bay Area Service League’s Ready for School will conclude its in-person events at our three local JCPenney stores: Baybrook, League City, and Pasadena, this week and with a final event on Tuesday, September 1st.

It was rewarding to see so many students smile as they selected new school clothes and accessories and received hygiene kits. These experiences helped them begin the school year with confidence among their peers.

Our members contributed to every aspect of this initiative, from staffing and recordkeeping to collaborating with school districts. Their dedication made the effort truly rewarding.
