One of the most meaningful ways to brighten someone’s day is with a simple note of kindness. Through Notes for Folks, Bay Area Service Teens® created messages of encouragement, birthday wishes, holiday greetings, and cheerful reminders that someone is thinking of them after each membership meeting.

These special notes go to residents in the memory care unit at Discovery Village Clear Lake, providing meaningful connections across generations. A few thoughtful words from a young person remind residents that they are valued and remembered.

At the same time, our teens learn the importance of building relationships with older adults in our community. Through Notes for Folks, Bay Area Service Teens learn to build lasting intergenerational connections that touch hearts at every age.
