A sea of red Target shopping bags awaits students in the Galveston Independent School District, thanks to the Bay Area Service League’s Ready for School Shop and Deliver option.

Sarah Foulds (left) and Elizabeth Arceneaux (right) oversee this initiative, which assists students who are unable to visit the store due to transportation challenges. Volunteers select the requested items on behalf of the students and ensure they are delivered to the campuses for distribution by authorized personnel.
