Every October, Bay Area Service League commemorates Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a tradition that traces back to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s Day of Unity established in 1981. This initiative is focused on bringing together advocates nationwide in the fight against violence directed at women and children.
