In July 2023, Bay Area Service Teens voted to launch a new philanthropic initiative called Crafted with Care. This program creates holiday-themed keepsakes for the youngest residents of Bay Area Turning Point and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

Following membership meetings, those who have signed up find immense joy in witnessing the impact of their hard work as they see the final product come to life.

Why do they do this? Spreading joy is a meaningful way to help these children, many of whom have arrived after experiencing traumatic home situations, and to instill hope for their futures.
