In Fall 2014, Bay Area Service Teens saw a need to help families seeking companion animals. They established the Cause for Paws philanthropic program, which assembled pet adoption kits and delivered them to the League City Animal Care shelter.

During COVID, the auxiliary pivoted and began donating food and supplies to the shelter to help with the increase in temporary boarders and to keep inventory levels at maximum capacity.

In May 2022, Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA became a partner, and this fall, Pasadena Animal Shelter joined their efforts.

Together, these partnerships continue to strengthen our mission—ensuring that every animal in need has the support, care, and chance at a loving home.
