Bay Area Service Teens Chartered 30 Years Ago and Continue Today with Energy, Empathy, and Purpose

On August 18, 1996, Bay Area Service League launched Bay Area Service Teens, an auxiliary specifically designed for teens to cultivate the next generation of compassionate leaders.

It’s noteworthy that this program was initiated just two years after the organization received its official charter, highlighting how important service—and its future—was from the outset.

Nearly 30 years later, these young people continue to infuse every project they undertake with energy, empathy, and a sense of purpose.
