As a result of a $2,000 grant from the La Porte Rotary Club, to help combat hunger among La Porte ISD students during school breaks, Bay Area Service Teens donated extra time at the recent Snack Attack Packs assembly.

800 Snack Attack Packs were prepared for summer distribution. Each pack includes a microwaveable meal, a mix of sweet and savory snacks, and a drink, ensuring that students have access to nutritious options when school is out.

The day after the assembly, Rotary representatives delivered them to the La Porte ISD Partners in Education.
