One year after the official charter in 1995, Bay Area Service League identified the need for a dedicated teen auxiliary to serve others, support philanthropic programs, and develop independent initiatives. This led to the creation of Bay Area Service Teens. From the outset, the group was structured with a member-elected board, led by a board chair who guided the group and promoted service and leadership.
Over the past 30 years, Bay Area Service Teens has been shaped by dedicated leaders, each contributing unique skills and talents. Many early leaders, now adults, have built successful careers in fields such as aerospace, education, engineering, healthcare, law, and technology. Their achievements reflect the lasting impact of their experience with Bay Area Service Teens, which provided a strong foundation for their leadership development.
Whether their service was decades ago or recent, serving as board chair remains a defining experience. We honor these past chairs and their vital contributions to the legacy of Bay Area Service Teens. Join us as we recognize these exceptional leaders, whose commitment continues to inspire.
