Bay Area Service League salutes its all-teen auxiliary, Bay Area Service Teens, for its contributions to community service.
As a joint project with adult members, the Snack Attack Pack initiative assembled 9,450 microwaveable meals for delivery to Deer Park ISD, La Porte ISD, and Texas City ISD. Fourteen (14) Bay Area Service Teens donated time or supplies to the Clear Lake Food Pantry, Interfaith Caring Ministries, or collaborated with Saint Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and the Galveston County Food Bank. All of these activities address food insufficiency through the Basic Kneads philanthropic program.
Birthday-In-A-Box provided 280 birthday party kits, a small gift, and a card to at-risk students at League City and McWhirter Elementary Schools in Clear Creek ISD, as well as K.E. Little and San Leon Elementary Schools in Dickinson ISD, serving at-risk students through Communities In Schools – Bay Area.
Cause for Paws assembled and delivered 450 pet adoption kits to Bay Area Pet Adoptions in San Leon and the Pasadena Animal Shelter. Ten (10) members delivered food and supplies over the year to the League City Animal Care Shelter and Pasadena Animal Shelter.
Crafted with Care designed 270 specialty-themed mementos for the children at the Bay Area Turning Point and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters shelters.
Notes for Folks colored 325 cards conveying special wishes and holiday greetings to Discovery Village Clear Lake memory care residents.
Through Project Snuggle, thirty-one (31) fleece blankets were created after membership meetings for delivery to The Bridge Over Troubled Waters and Bay Area Turning Point.
As a result of the philanthropic program work, support for the adult organization, and the Heart Healthy Hustle fundraising event, Bay Area Service Teens accrued 3.411.5 hours of volunteerism from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026.
