A Leader in Action: Celebrating Ethan Haile’s Commitment to Service

Meet Ethan Haile, this year’s Vice Chair Membership for Bay Area Service Teens.

Ethan initially joined the organization seeking service hours, but soon discovered a deeper sense of community and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. Through Bay Area Service Teens, he has learned that focused, hands-on service can effectively support specific groups in need, and he takes pride in contributing to programs that strengthen the broader community.

Ethan will be an incoming senior at Clear Lake High School, where he plays tuba in the band, bass guitar in the Jazz Band, and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Outside of school, Ethan serves as a Lieutenant in the Clear Lake Lunar Rendezvous Festival and as the goalie for the Chargers Lacrosse Team, a combined team representing all five CCISD high schools. He has been dedicated to lacrosse since 2017 and continues to demonstrate leadership and discipline on the field.

Ethan assumed a leadership role to further build upon his investment of time and energy in the organization. After serving as a Teen Liaison for Snack Attack Packs, he recognized his enthusiasm for guiding others and contributing to the success of philanthropic programs. His positive leadership experience last year as Vice Chair Philanthropic Programs motivated him to continue serving during his final year in the auxiliary.

Among the various initiatives he supports, Ethan’s preferred philanthropic program is Cause for Paws, where he assists companion animals and supports families preparing to adopt.

Ethan anticipates a meaningful and memorable year, during which he aims to continue serving, leading, and inspiring others to make a positive difference.
