Ready for School Rolls Out Shop & Deliver and In‑Person Shopping

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Ready for School, Bay Area Service League®’s largest philanthropic program for the 2026-2027 school year. Ready for School provides students across nine school districts with new clothing and accessories, ensuring they can enter their classrooms with confidence.

Our program kicks off with the first day of Shop & Deliver on July 31st. Shop & Deliver is a unique alternative for students who may not have the resources to visit a store in person. Through this option, students can indicate their clothing preferences, and volunteers will select these items at local Target stores. Once purchased, the clothing is delivered directly to the students’ campuses, making it easy and accessible for every child to receive what they need.

In-person shopping begins on August 4th at participating JCPenney stores. This shopping experience allows students to choose their own clothing, consider options, and work with an assigned allowance as they prepare for a successful school year.

Ready for School ensures every child starts the school year ready to learn and succeed!
