The Permanent Endowment Fund of Moody Methodist Church recently awarded a generous $100,000 grant to Bay Area Service League to support its efforts on Galveston Island. This funding will enable the organization to broaden its reach by providing additional services to students at both the Galveston Independent School District and Odyssey Academy through its flagship philanthropic program, Ready for School.

The Permanent Endowment Fund (PEF), a supporting organization of Moody Methodist Church, plays a crucial role in this philanthropic mission. Its Board of Directors, composed of congregants, leverages PEF funding to provide grants to nonprofit organizations serving the Galveston community and beyond.

Since 2018, PEF has generously contributed $465,000 to our organization, significantly enhancing our ability to make a difference in the lives of many.
