Chapter’s Newest Philanthropic Program Distributes 9,000 Meals to Students Facing Food Insufficiency
Snack Attack Packs provides nutritional supplements to students facing food insecurity. Each package contains a microwaveable meal, a sweet and salty snack, and a drink. Partnerships are with Deer Park ISD, La Porte ISD, and Texas City ISD. Nine thousand (9,000) packages were assembled and distributed to district personnel between June 2023 and May 2024.

Ready for Work Outfitted 26 Clients with Interview or Job-Appropriate Clothing
Twenty-six clients were provided interview or job-appropriate clothing through the chapter’s Ready for Work philanthropic program. Partnerships with Family Promise of Clear Creek, The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Workforce Solutions Clear Lake, and United Way of Greater Houston Bay Area Service Center generated referrals.
