In Partnership with La Porte Education Foundation, Assistance League Awards over $7,300 in Teacher Innovative Grants
On May 9, Assistance League® of the Bay Area members traveled to La Porte ISD where they presented three Teacher Innovative Grants through the La Porte Education Foundation. Grants totaling $7,387.53 were presented to Wendy McCarthy, College Park Elementary, Kimberly LaRive, Lomax Elementary, and Rhonda Knighten and Kelly Leonard, La Porte Elementary.

Assistance League’s 2017 Donation to Westbrook Intermediate Teacher Innovative Grant Comes to Fruition
Last year Assistance League® of the Bay Area had an opportunity to increase the Community Outreach budget. An area we elected to fund were two Teacher Innovative Grants in the Clear Creek and La Porte ISDs. Walmart Friendswood Store Donates $2,000 to Assistance League’s Operation Support Our Schools
Assistance League® of the Bay Area thanks Walmart Friendswood for their generous donation of $2,000. This donation allows Operation Support Our Schools to increase their service to nineteen campuses in the Clear Creek and Dickinson ISDs. Over $38,000 in Teacher Innovative Grants Awarded Through Clear Creek Education Foundation by Assistance League of the Bay Area
On Tuesday, May 1, representatives from Assistance League® of the Bay Area joined the Clear Creek Education Foundation Sur-Prize Patrol Bus as they traveled through the district awarding Teacher Innovative Grants.
