Bay Area Service League’s largest philanthropic program, Ready for School, enabled students to choose school-appropriate clothing and accessories at local JCPenney stores. In some cases, items were provided through a shop-and-deliver option from Target.

During the 2024-2025 fiscal year, a total of 2,445 students from nine school districts, including Clear Creek ISD, Deer Park ISD, Dickinson ISD, Friendswood ISD, Galveston ISD, La Porte ISD, Santa Fe ISD, Texas City ISD, and Odyssey Academy’s public charter schools, received essential items for the school year.
