La Porte ISD Taps Bay Area Service League as Community Partner of the Month

Bay Area Service League is honored to have received the Community Partner of the Month from La Porte ISD.

We were recognized by La Porte ISD Partners in Education Representative Terri Cook. She highlighted numerous philanthropic programs that directly impact students and those experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault.

Philanthropic programs such as Ready for School provide clothing and accessories to economically disadvantaged students. Operation Cinderella outfits senior girls and boys to ensure they have a positive prom experience. Snack Attack Packs offer nutritional support to students facing food scarcity outside of school hours. Additionally, Caring Kits provide clothing, undergarments, and shoes for individuals who have experienced assault, as their original clothing is often retained for evidentiary purposes.

Additionally, we recognize Mason Peres, a La Porte ISD School Board Trustee and a member of the Bay Area Service League Advisory Council.
